Is parking available near The Skin Studio Dublin?

Yes, convenient parking options are available nearby. On-street parking outside the studio can be paid by machine or using the Payzone app under the ‘Red Zone’. The nearest multi storey carpark is Thomas Street Carpark, Oliver Bond Street, Usher’s Quay.

Are you serviced by public transport?

Yes, we are serviced by the following bus routes: 150, 27, 56A, 74, 77A, 151. For trams, we are a 15 -20 minute walk from Fatmia and St Stephens Green Luas Stops.

Do you accept walk-in’s or is it by appointment only?

The Skin Studio operates on an appointment-only basis. As we do not have a reception area, all treatments and product collections must be pre-booked. If you would like to request a booking outside of our listed hours, please email hello@theskinstudio.ie and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Are your skincare brands vegan-friendly, or cruelty-free?

At The Skin Studio, we carefully select results-driven skincare brands that prioritise high-quality, ethically produced ingredients.

While not all of our brands are fully vegan, many products within the Biologique Recherche, Optimum Derma Aciditate, and Ignae ranges are cruelty-free and contain naturally derived active ingredients.

What is Lotion P50 and why is it so popular?

Lotion P50 is an exfoliating toner and one of the cult favourites in the Biologique Recherche range. It helps purify, balance, and regenerate the skin. There are several versions tailored to different skin types, and we’ll help you choose the right one during your consultation. It helps purify, balance, regulate and gently exfoliate the skin. Often toted as a ‘facial in a bottle’ there are several versions available tailored to different skin instants. Absolutely. Many of our products, including those from Biologique Recherche, are formulated without artificial fragrance and are suitable for even the most sensitive or reactive skin types. We tailor every recommendation to your unique skin needs.

Do I need a consultation before purchasing Biologique Recherche?

Yes, upon checkout you will be asked to fill out a short consultation form. This is due to the clinical nature of Biologique Recherche products and their active ingredients. We offer personalised consultations to ensure the right products are selected for your skin’s individual needs. Yes, we provide virtual skincare consultations for clients across Ireland who wish to receive expert advice and product recommendations from the comfort of home.

Which facial treatment is best for my skin type or concern?

Whether your focus is on acne, pigmentation, or signs of ageing, we can recommend the most suitable facial based on a detailed skin consultation. If you are new to The Skin Studio and not sure where to start, we recommend booking a Skincare Consultation. If you would like a facial treatment on your first visit, we recommend our introductory Skincare Consultation & Facial Treatment.

Can I get a facial if I am pregnant?

Absolutely. We can safely adapt our facial treatments to suit pregnancy and breastfeeding.

At this special time, we recommend selecting a Biologique Recherche or Ignae facial, both of which can be customised to support your skin’s changing needs while ensuring total comfort and safety.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

For the most accurate skin diagnosis, we recommend arriving for your skincare consultation makeup free. Avoiding use of active’s such as physical exfoliants, acids or retinols for 48 hours prior to your facial booking can be a good idea - this gives your therapist a broader choice of booster treatments to choose from on the day.

Do you offer gift vouchers or digital gift cards?

What should I do if I experience a skin reaction after a product or treatment?

If you notice an irritation or any other unexpected reaction after using a product or receiving a treatment:

Stop using the product immediately

Rinse your skin gently with water if applicable.
